The London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games are about elite performance sport and south London has provided many world-class athletes in the past and will provide winners for London and the UK in 2012. But the spirit of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games is to provide opportunities for everyone to participate in and enjoy sport.

We will be working with the South London Sports and Physical Activity Partnership to deliver a sustained awareness programme promoting participation in sport and physical activity, support emerging sporting talent, transform disabled sport in south London and attract visiting athletes and nations to use south London as a base to prepare for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

This site will feature the latest news on south London sports people and activities.
